Alja graduated from Fashion and textile design in 2008 at University of Ljubljana. Before graduation she did one year exchange program in Designskolen Kolding, Denmark and got lots of great new experiance. She also went to live in New York City and did internship at Kufmanfranco, which only gave her more knowledge how everything works. In 2008 she started on her own, which was always her dream.
